My path has moved from mental health challenges to one of Loving Awareness. A profound heart awakening—mishandled by the person guiding it—along with the unprocessed grief from my grandmother’s death in childhood, led me to the healing path I continue to walk today.
I’ve trained as a mindfulness teacher with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and participated in silent Buddhist retreats (Vipassana, Zen, Insight), including at Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village in France. My journey has also included sacred plant ceremonies, diverse healing workshops, and deep study of Peruvian ancestral wisdom and spirituality.
I’ve been blessed to learn from a Q’ero family guided by María and Alejandro Apaza, and through the Andean Oracle of Chaupin with Elba Bravo and Silvia Maza. I am also a Sacred Apiculture practitioner and a certified Radical Forgiveness coach.
With over 25 years immersed in meditation, Buddhist philosophy, yoga, sacred plants, and somatic practices, I guide people of all ages to reconnect with their inner wisdom, navigate life with compassion, and embrace the present moment fully.
My facilitation blends mindful somatic awareness, nature connection, and ancient Andean and Buddhist traditions.
I hold deep appreciation for the guardians of ancient wisdom, as well as the teachers and healers who have guided me.
Since 2022, I’ve taught and mentored at Banyantogether.com, a global online community co-founded by Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, Willem Bult and Ranah Edelin.
In 2010, I co-founded Mindfulness Peru with Ana Loret de Mola, offering workshops, programs, and retreats interweaving mindfulness with Peruvian ancestral wisdom and connection with nature. We were co-speakers at TEDxTukuy in 2019. In 2025, we launched a teacher training weaving Peruvian ancestral spirituality with mindfulness and compassion based practices.
I continue to educate myself on grief and death with Joan Halifax and Frank Ostazeski. My practice and knowledge of somatic bodywork are ever-expanding through yoga, dance, Authentic Movement, and Qi Gong. Furthermore, I have participated in Trauma, Psychedelic Integration, Buddhism, and Ecology Summits, as well as in Grof’s holotropic breathing and Systemic Work through Family Constellations.
I was born in Lima-Peru, in 1979 in a loving and complex blended family. After traveling the world in my 20's and 30's as a chef and meditating in Buddhist monasteries, I returned home, where I met my husband. We now live in the Sacred Valley with our daughter, offering wellness, cultural and nature-based trips and experiences in Peru through his tailored-made travel company: TANIT Trails
I deeply cherish the connection with the magnificent nature and ancient wisdom of the Andes, grounding myself in the Great Open Heart to fully embrace life’s beauty, with all its joys and sorrows.
Family has always been central to my journey of self-discovery, healing, and evolution. Growing up in a blended family which, as time taught me, is a treasure trove of challenges and blessings. Motherhood and step-motherhood continuous to be wake-up call, reminding me to integrate mindfulness and heartfulness into daily life.
As a permaculturist and chef, pioneering mindful cooking and eating programs in Peru and Lebanon. I hosted the cooking TV show Perú Orgánico, focused on organic food and a conscious lifestyle.
In essence, my life intertwines mindfulness-heartfulness, ancient wisdom, and a profound connection with nature, guiding others on paths of healing and self-discovery.
