Since 2022, I've taught and mentored at Banyan, an online global community co-founded by Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield and others, leveraging 25+ years immersed in Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, sacred plants, and somatic practices.
My journey has moved from mental health challenges to a path of Loving Awareness. This includes participation in Buddhist silent retreats (Vipassana, Zen, and Insight), mindfulness teacher training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and studies in Ancient Peruvian wisdom, Sacred Apiculture, and Radical Forgiveness coaching.
I hold deep appreciation for the guardians of ancient wisdom, as well as the teachers and healers who have guided me.
I became a certified mindfulness teacher and mentor during the first MMTCP and MMT cohort (2017-2019 and 2022) with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Additionally, I am trained in the Young Compassionate Leaders program by Jane Goodall, in Ancient Peruvian Andean Wisdom through the Q'ero tradition and Chaupin Oracle, in Sacred Apiculture, and in Radical Forgiveness coaching.
I continue to educate myself on grief and death with Joan Halifax and Frank Ostazeski. My practice and knowledge of somatic bodywork are ever-expanding through yoga, dance, Authentic Movement, and Qi Gong with Teja Bell. Furthermore, I have participated in Trauma, Psychedelic Integration, Buddhism, and Ecology Summits, as well as in Grof’s holotropic breathing and systemic work through family constellations.
In 2010, I co-founded Mindfulness Peru with Ana Loret de Mola, offering workshops, programs, and retreats interweaving mindfulness with Peruvian ancestral wisdom and connection with nature. We were co-speakers at TEDxTukuy in 2019.
I have participated in numerous Buddhist (Vipassana, Zen and Insight) silent retreats, including at Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village in France. As well, sacred plant ceremonies and diverse healing workshops.
I was born in Lima, Peru, in 1979. In my 20s and 30s, I traveled the world, cooking in top restaurants and practicing in Buddhist monasteries.
Now, I live in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco, Peru, with my partner, daughter, and cat. I deeply cherish the connection with the magnificent nature and ancient wisdom of the Andes, grounding myself in the Great Open Heart to fully embrace life’s beauty, with all its joys and sorrows.
Family has always been central to my journey of self-discovery, healing, and evolution. Growing up in a blended family which, as time taught me, is a treasure trove of challenges and blessings. Motherhood, as a continuous wake-up call, reminds me to integrate mindfulness and heartfulness into daily life.
I am also a culinary and wellness travel specialist and guide at Tanit Trails.
Permaculturist and chef, pioneering mindful cooking and eating programs in Peru and Lebanon. I hosted the cooking TV show Perú Orgánico, focused on organic food and a conscious lifestyle.
In essence, my life intertwines mindfulness-heartfulness, ancient wisdom, and a profound connection with nature, guiding others on paths of healing and self-discovery.
